Sketch Saturday Week 118

Well, it is Father's Day here in Australia next Sunday - so I have used this weeks sketch for my Father's Day card.

I have used Bazzill, some old Paperloft paper, and a scrap of Basic Grey paper. The house stamp is an old Dinkum Inkums stamp (one of the first I ever owned!), the birds are from a Tim Holtz set of clear stamps, and the greeting is from Darkroom Door.

I have distress inked the image place with antique linen, pumice stone, tea dye, vintage photo and walnut stain, and stamped the house image in walnut stain. The birds and greeting is black archival ink. Some stitching (machine and hand) and a layer embossed with a Tim Holtz texture fades embossing folder give this card some dimensional elements. I also used a little Rock Candy crackle paint around the house image and rubbed some more walnut stain ink into it once it was dry.
