The Play Date Cafe #67

And this weeks challenge at the Play Date Cafe comes courtesty of Ruby2Shoes!  How gorgeous is this inspiration photo?

I began with a dark red cardstock base and lightly blended Black Soot distress ink on the edges, and machine stitched around the edge.  I then took white cardstock and rounded the corners and stamped the valentine stamp in Fired Brick distress ink then roughly machine stitch a heart around the stamp.  Then I masked off the heart and stamped the love definition stamp in Black Soot distress ink.

Die cut some Tim Holtz stickets & stamp the love ticket in black soot, and blend some fired brick ink on the edges and staple to attach.  Stamp some hearts in spun sugar & fired brick distress inks on scrap cardstock.  Roughly cover the stamped design with dimensional magic and set aside.  Stamp one more heart on scrap cardstock in Colorbox royal blue.  Apply rock candy crackle to this heart, and rub in faded jeans distress ink once the crackle is dry.  Attach all hearts with pop dots and glue dots for dimension.

Die cut some Tim Holt vintage market alphas to spell u-nique.  Colour the first U with the royal blue ink, and the rest with spun sugar and edge in fired brick distress inks and attach.

We have a great sponsor this week - It is Ruby2Shoes, with some Ippity stamps!

And take a look at these great prizes up for grabs:

Why not pop on over to The Play Date Cafe for a look at all the details on entering the challenge, or check out the inspiration from the other design team members!
