The Play Date Cafe #69

What an exciting week for you we have this week at the Play Date Cafe!  This is the first of our special weeks this year, and we are combining challenges with CASE Study Challenge - why not take some time to read about it and check out both challenges - there are awesome prizes up for grabs!

Iwona Palamountain (aka Chupa) is the owner of the CASE Study Challenge, and is also our Guest Designer this week.  Make sure to stop by and give her some love!

And now onto this weeks awesome inspiration picture...

I was inspired by all the shabby chic entries last week, and wanted to get involved in all this shabbiness, and this is what I came up with.  The roses and card base are made from Scribble Scrabble Nana's Trunk Collection paper (both sides), edging was done with pumice stone distress ink.  The cream and green are MME Bella Bella papers.  The cream has been stamped in Tim Holtz Music Score using frayed burlap distress ink and edged in antique linen and pumice stone distress ink.  The green was stamped with Basic Grey flourish edges using forest moss distress ink and edged in pumice stone distress ink.

The little girls are a section of Magenta's Victorian Angels Collage Music stamp, stamped in black archival and trimmed out.  Add some machine stitching, some trims, and layer it all together.

We have some awesome prizes up for grabs this week.  We are being sponsored by Ippity Stamps, and they are offering this stamp set to the winner of the Play Date Cafe Challenge this week.....

and this prize to the lucky winner who takes part in both the Play Date Cafe and CASE challenges this week....

With all this goodness on offer, why not grab some crafty goodness and get creating?  If you need more inspiration, check out what our fabulous design team girls have on offer....

And don't forget our Guest Designer, Iwona Palamountain (Chupa).
