Farewell Play Date Cafe DT

Yes folks you read that title correctly.  This week marks the last of my term over at the Play Date Cafe.  It has been a wonderful creative journey for me, stretching me, and helping me to learn loads about myself in the process.  Thanks to Julie and the rest of the DT for making it a memorable term!

Without further ado, here is this weeks colour story.  Yes, it is colour splash week again, and you know what that means - black and white, with just a splash of colour (and this week YOU get to pick that one splash of colour).

We were sponsored by The Twinery this week, and I have used just a smidge of 'pink sorbet' twine on my triangle card.  I tied two pieces into knots and attached to be the 'spots' on my ladybugs.

Black and white cardstock, kaisercraft scrap paper, black archival ink, and stamps from Darkroom Door (all occasions and alphabet medley) and Heidi Grace (sweetest bug icon)  all came together to create this sweet card which I posted secretly to my husband.

Thanks for all your visits during my term as a Designer at The Play Date Cafe - they have meant a lot to me.  I hope you'll all pop by often and say 'hi'.

Fee...it has been my pleasure having you on out team this past 6 months. You have brought your own beautiful brand of creativity to the challenge and I KNOW you have inspired many new players and re-inspired those who have been looking for a new perspective.
I look forward to seeing what's next for you and this card was one adorable way to finish the journey!
