SDC54 and PDCC131

The challenge over at Stampotique Designers Challenge is 'Family' - I was stuck on the quote "some mothers do 'ave 'em" from the old British sitcom.

** EDITED TO ADD: This was chosen as Cup of The Week for The Play Date Cafe **

I kept the design quite simple - as this is for my son's 16th birthday.

I have combined my entry with the colours from The Play Date Cafe this week - here is the inspiration picture...

Thanks for visiting,

May calendar pages

This is another of the calendar pages to play along with Kate Crane's monthly calendar journal.  I've had this page made for ages.  May is a busy month in our house - a wedding anniversary and two birthdays - so this was my inspiration for the top part of the calendar.

Thanks for stopping by.

Match that card

So last month I was guest designing for Stampotique, and one of the projects I made was this note card set using Carol's Flower, Large.

At the time, I didn't have any Kraft envelopes, but I really wanted to have matching envelopes for the set.

I have since rectified that situation, and now I have a complete set of note cards AND envelopes...

I have hardly created anything for such a long time, and this project required little thought, and an hour or so of relaxing colouring in.
